Cultural event: Trip to Heidelberg

The second week of the BTME Summer School began with a trip to Heidelberg. Three guides showed us the city and the famous castle. Therefore we had to climb up the 300 stairs from the valley to the top of the mountain, where the castle was located. We were guided through the whole complex of buildings with its fascinating ruins, parks and views on the city of Heidelberg.
After the tour we had some leisure time and the opportunity to explore the city on our own.
Finally we met for dinner in a typical German brewery with sausages, fried potatoes, "Sauerkraut" and "Käsespätzle".
