On the 15th day of BTME Summer School the students learned about Business Strategy Management. At 9 am Bill Punshon started his lecture about this topic. He told the participants about strategy in general, the key concepts of strategy management and how to formulate strategies. Afterwards the students had group discussions about the importance of strategic management to organizations that contend with change and development and the crucial elements of strategy when focusing on positioning, planning and implementation. Beside that they talked about a case study of Starbucks’ strategy. Being finished the groups presented their results to the audience.
After lunch the participants had free time and were able to discover the city of Liverpool. The English participants brought the other students to the docks and showed them other interesting places.
