Cultural event: Trip to Llandudno and Chester

At day fifteen some sightseeing was scheduled. After an extensive breakfast the participants headed for one and a half hour by coach to Llandudno. Llandudno belongs to Wales, which is the fourth country the students visited during the BTME Summer School. It has about 21,000 habitants and is popular for its seaside. For most of the particpants it was the first time in Wales and so they wandered along the seaside and through the city of Llandudno.
The second stop was in Chester, which is located next to the River Dee in England, close to the border with Wales. It has about 77,000 habitants and belongs to Cheshire. The students visited the city of Chester, where many of them went shopping. Furthermore the participants visited one of the most important sights of Chester, the Chester Cathedral.
