Au revoir la France, Willkommen in Deutschland

by Robert
We finished our stay in Strasbourg and went to Germany to enjoy our second location of the seminar. The first challenge of the day was to carry our luggage into the elevator and afterwards to the baggage room in our hostel.

When we had mastered this with success, we visited the European Parliament in Strasbourg as our last highlight in France. During our last hour in France we reflected our impressions of Strasbourg and our today's quite interesting visit while having lunch at the “Parc de l'Orange”.

After we had finished our pick-nick we headed to Germany by coach in about one and a half hour. For some of the participants this was the very first time they went to Germany and of course we were pleased to welcome them. After the check-in at the hostel we had a guided city tour to get our first impressions of Karlsruhe.

In the evening at the Cooperative State University of Karlsruhe, we enjoyed speeches by Mr. Richter, Dr. Käuflein and Dr. Eichhorn about the BWCSU and the Technology Region of Karlsruhe. The day ended with a small selection of german fingerfood surrounded by classical music at the BWCSU.
